SkillSelect for Expression of Interest (EOI)
SkillSelect is an immigration program offered for candidates wanting to move to Australia. It helps to match skilled international workers with employers in Australia. If you are going to migrate to Australia for work purposes, as a skilled worker or a business person, you will need a Skillselect to make an expression of interest. It will match you to your employers based on your skills and knowledge.
Expression of Interest(EOI) in SkillSelect
The EOI will be valid for two years and it is not a visa application. To submit the SkillSelect, you do not have to pay anything. After you’ve received an invitation to submit your visa application, you won’t be able to make any changes to your EOI. You can, however, make adjustments in the following cases.
1. New work experience.
2. Changed family details.
3. English language ability improvements.
These changes will help you to increase your ranking. Wrong or fake information will be cross-checked and lead to the dismissal of your application.
Step 1
You will need to provide the following personal details along with an email and passcode in order to sign up for Skillselect.
1. Your full name and family name
2. Date of birth and the country born in
3. Address
4. Gender
5. Passport and Citizenship details
6. Relationship status
After confirming, you will be given an identification number which later will be used to log in to your account.
Step 2
You can use your provided identification number to sign in into your SkillSelect. Here you need to fill out all the sections with your proper information and save the application to edit later on.
Step 3
The third step is to select a visa type for your application. You can also select more than one visa type.
Step 4
If you have taken any English language test, you have to list the date of examination, reference number, test scores.
Step 5
Details on your academic qualification include the following details.
1. Start and end date of the study
2. Qualification name
3. Name of course
4. Institution name
5. Country of the institution
Step 6
In this step, you have to provide proper details on your skill assessment.
1. Details of your nominated occupation along with the assessing authority.
2. The completion date of your skill assessment.
3. Reference number of your skill assessment.
Step 7
Your employment history :
1. Position of the job title
2. Employer name you worked under
3. Country of the employment undertaken
4. Start date and end date of employment
5. Position related to the nominated occupation
6. Claiming points for the position
Step 8
Before submitting your application, double-check all of the information you’ve provided.

After successful submission of your application, you can download a pdf version of your Expression of interest (EOI) application.
